* Volunteers *

We have been approached by a number of members wishing to become Volunteers and help out with either sorting items or being a drop off point for donations.
We are so grateful to all of you who have enquired and once restrictions have lifted we would love to take on some help, especially with drop off points in different areas, as we néed people in Winchester, Salisbury and Bournemouth or Poole as this would make our lives so much easier and free up more time to source items and therefore help more people.

A drop off point is basically where people can take their donations and we can then collect weekly etc. We will provide a sign stating New Life Domestic to put up in your window, if you don’t mind, so that people donating can easily find you, we will always contact you first to inform you that someone is coming, as we are only taking items needed until storage can be found.

If you would like to be a Volunteer please go to the link below and click on the ‘About Us’ heading. You will find a Volunteer form to fill in and submit. We can then get in touch with you regarding what you would like to do.

The reason for asking our volunteers to fill in a form is because, firstly, we work with vulnerable people and we therefore need to know who we have working with us and secondly, we are working towards getting Charity Status and therefore need to do everything correct and above board to show the Charity Commission.

We have already begun to receive Donations towards our next Raffle and would like to Thank everyone who has Donated a Gift. We are not sure when we shall be holding the next Raffle yet, having only just held one, but we may do them as a monthly thing, as we feel it is a great way of raising funds and it gives us a chance to give something back to you for your support.

We are trying to think of different ways of picking the Winners names though to make it fairer, as for some reason this time alot of people won more than 1 Prize, so if you have any ideas please let us know, we always welcome your input.

Also if you have a Business and feel that you can donate a gift to our Raffle, to help towards raising money for our cause, we will be more than happy to write a post about your company and let all our members know how generous you have been.

When buying Raffle Tickets online please state your name as we have had someone pay £5 for 6 and it states Anonymous? If this is you can you please message me so we can write your name down.
Otherwise we shall add you to the ‘Wheel of Names’ as Anon 1 and if you win a prize we shall hold onto it for you until claimed.

* Raffle Tonight at 5pm Live Draw *

For all of you who have enetered our Raffle tonight, we the Admin Team would like to say a huge Thank You for taking part and helping us towards our goal of £600.
If you go to the Events section at the top of the page you will find the Raffle and hopefully we will be live at 5pm…please bare with me though as technology doesn’t seem to like me and something is bound to go wrong, which is why I am doing it at Claire Pettyfer (admin) house. So she can rescue me if needed 🤣😂
